    Twilight-fever @ 11:14, January 5, 2009

I know it’s been some time, again, but this time around I have a really good excuse!

First - it’s been New Years Eve and I’ve been celebrating with my friends and friends of friends. It was a blast I must say though with a lot of teen drinking, not me :P, and some accidents like someone pouring a whole glass of champagne on my coat. I recovered from that quickly and that’s when the other excuse kicks in.

Last Monday me and three friends went to the movies to watch the movie “Twilight“. I was stunned and amazed. It was… perfect! I had to go home right away and download it and watch it again the very same evening (a horrible version ’cause someone had filmed on the screen) and I was stuck. The morning after I checked our library’s site to see if I could get in line so that I could borrow the book. Well, I could but… I’d have to wait 7½ years (!) since I was the 87th person in that line. I gave up, went in to town and bought it (hardbacked because all pocket copies were out - what a popular book!). I read and I read and then I read some more and before I knew it - I had reached the end. Within 2 days! (the book is about 450 pages). Damn! What should I do with my life now? Well… Go back and buy the other one of course! So I did and within 24 I had finished that one to. So now I’ll have to go back in again to buy the third book - man I’ll get broke! And it doesn’t end here. No no. I have watched the movie at home three more times and yesterday I sat up all evening reading on Stephenie Meyer’s site (the author) and read outtakes and chapters from someone else’s perspective and how she wrote the books and… Well, when I like something I always dive in to it and never let go. I get a bit nuts about it and can’t stop talking about it and…

So to all of you lucky bastards that have not read the book/watched the movie “Twilight” do that now! You won’t be sorry.

Yep, that’s about it. I’ll go in to town now.

    Kisses,
    Nathalie

    Merry Christmas! @ 11:59, December 23, 2008

    Hi, y’all!

I know I’ve been paying little attention to this site lately but school has been killing me and now with Christmas tomorrow everything is turned upside-down! Speaking of that - in Sweden, where I live, we don’t give eachother gifts on the 25t but on Christmas Eve the 24th hence I have to be finished with my gifts today! And, luckily, I am. I don’t have that many people to give presents to; my brother, sister, mother and father. I guess I thought so until last sunday. I was spending some time with my former best friend, and now… friend?, K. and another friend H-M. We had a blast making Rocky Road and watching TV but then I had to leave ’cause my mother was going to pick me up. Just when I was about to walk out the door K. comes running towards me and hands over a gift. I was shocked and very happy - she actually thinks about me! But when the shocked wore off I started to freak out a little. K. is this very generous person that buys DVD-boxes to her cousins and such. My last birthday she gave me a $60 horseback ridinglesson and the one before that a SingStar-game for about the same amount of money. I still wonder what this might be, of course I havn’t opened it yet, but I anyway went in to town to buy her something. I found some good stuff that I’m giving to her, a really funny book that I know she’ll love and a hot neckerchief, but I could not spend as much money. But she’s not the one exspecting things so I think I’ll be alright.
Anyway, clock’s thicking. I have to take a long walk, buy a Christmas tree and decorate a bit.

    Merry Christmas to you all!

    Best Wishes, Nathalie

    High School Musical 3: Senior Year @ 16:09, October 26, 2008

Today I went to the movies to watch “High School Musical 3: Senior Year“. I am such a sucker for these movies! I mean; singing hotties, dancing hotties, perfect couples - what more is there to wish?! Anyway, so when we got there and were watching the commercial before my sister suddenly reflected over the fact that there were only kids in the age of 5. She said: “Maybe this is the Swedish version?” I got all fired up and ran out to talk to the people working there. They confirmed that it was indeed the Swedish version but that we could go and change our tickets. Thank god! So we got to see the movie, half an hour later, and it was so worth waiting for! You can absolutely see that the budget for this film is about ten times higher than the first one. They really made an effort to create a great movie, lots of singing and great choreography. It’s sad that it was the last one but it was a good third movie. I’m just dying for the soundtrack to be released!
Have you guys seen it? What to you think about HSM overall? Is it just phony or is there heart in it?

Edit: I’ve just installed some smilies so I just have to try them on! :) :P :blah:  :ill: . YAY! This is so much better than Wordpress’ ugly ones. Though some og them are left so they might just pop up occationally. But until then.

    Love, Sophie Lee
